The feeling that I'm aware, is more helplessness than cowardice.
I peel off my frail consciousness slowly, so my footsteps won't make a sound
Becoming ashes, scattering into tiny pieces.
I ask my subconsciousness... What more?
Tears starts to fall, without a trace..

".confinement." Day 1: Sunny This day finally came. Enlistment day. I ain't really feeling nervous nor excited. But rather, having a positive mindcep for this. Woke up early in the morning. Took a shower and everything, check my bag for any missing items before heading out with my parents to HTA. The journey to HTA is damn long. One end to another. I seriously hate travelling. Well, what to do? I got seperated with my parents upon reaching there. While they went around the academy to look at the facilities and everything. While I'm supposed to gather and the dojo room for body check and some admin work at the latter. Seriously started to miss the plenty of time I have had before coming to this place. Well, the Earth would not stop rotating because of me.. Alright. Back to where I left off. I spent most of the day at the hall for all the admin stuff grouping stuff. Before having my meal with my parents before I'm left all alone there for the next 11 days.... Day 2: Raining It's the start of hell. Woke up early in the morning for physical training. And it was raining quite heavily and it's so freaking cold. Headed to the hall for mess PT. It's quite fucked up I should say. It's been way too long since I last exercise. But well.. After that for the whole afternoon we're supposed to collect all our stuff. Boots, uniforms and everything. From I think around 1 all the way till 5 plus. Rot. Soon after it's dinner time. And that's when many of us realise the seriousness of this "chalet'. Right after dinner. We kena pump outside the "mess". MESS is the so called canteen. If I'm not wrong is cause we never follow the instructor's instructions properly. Pump until some vomited. But I'm still alright lahs. Then march back to our coy which is just in time for the water parade. And we were asked to get back to our barracks and get our water bottles in 3 minutes. Like wth? How is it possible man. 3 rooms and 2nd level while 1 and the 1st. In the end we kena 200 jumping jacks in front of the whole company. Imagine. After we kena fucked upside down right after dinner and everyone is already SHAG-ed. And with the additional 200 jumping jacks. In the end many fall out. While I do and stop, do and stop. After that 200 finish already never mind. Then the Field Instructor (FI) ask who not feeling well. LOL. After the first person step out, half of the squad step out. Then the FI say all go back. Then we kena fucked again. With more push ups to go. Before we all went back to our bunks and lay flat till next day. Day 3: Raining Another morning with hell PT. Everyone is so shag after the punishment last night. While in the afternoon we went to take picture for our warrant card and 11B. Surely looks awful with my pimples all around my face. zzz. While in the night after dinner we were doing drills and the drill shed. As it rained early and the floor is a little wet. I lose my step and slip flat with my wrist and knee landing hard on the ground and over pulling my thigh muscles. What a bad day. Since then both my wrist and knee joint were constantly in pain after push ups and push ups. Day 4 It's PT again. I seriously couldn't do any push ups due to my wrist. But still I hang on lahs. lol. After the PT is talk all the way from 9am to 5pm. Dinner, drill and bed time. Day 5 Today is a relax day. Fall in at 7am and went straight for breakfast. No PT! Finally. Followed by another talk, clean our bunks, yet another talk, dinner and free time. While in the free time I went around joking with my squad mates. Up and down a 4 level story building. Worn out. But it's good, I could train my stamina to prepare for my IPPT. End of day. Day 6 Breakfast > Talk > Lunch > Talk > Dinner > End Day 7 Early in the morning. Had my first flag raising after like, 2 years plus? Since secondary school. lol. Had swimming lesson today. But it's a very short one. Before that we are forming up in front of the swimming instructor office. Then we were very quiet while another squad is make damn lots of noise. In the end we kena pump because of those idiots from another squad. Like what the fuck. Bunch of faggots. Day ended with PT. Day 8 Drill in the morning. Followed by a supposingly LAW lesson which turns out to be just some admin works. While our first PDT lesson started with some simple tactics and the day went on.. Day 9 PT > Breakfast > LAW > Lunch > PDT > Dinner. It's pretty much one of the worst day since I came in. Everything that I do just doesn't turns out right. Totally fucked. Day 10 By far the best day during the entire confinement. PT > Breakfast > Law > Swimming > Drill > Dinner. Today swimming was taught with some lifesaving skills. And for drill. We were brushing up on our drills while everyone was quite tired after the swimming lesson. As per normal, swimming lesson sure will kena pump until bruises and everything. Here's the fun part. During drill lesson, our instructor inform us. That another squad is posing a challenge on us for the Best Drill Squad Award. They are from prep course which means they are 1 month more senior than us. While we're just little boys for 2 weeks. And their drill is really solid. While ours is crap. Full of crap. Never mind. During dinner. While forming up in front of the mess. We met our opposing squad. Same time at the mess. Same time out of the mess. After dinner. The 2 squads form up one after another. They were wearing drill boots. While we were just wearing sports shoe. For the very fucking first time. We bang as one. Bang louder than them even though we are just in sports shoe. Even their instructor say we are better. All of us majiam people sucking our punut like that. HIGH is the word. Naturally, it's something worth celebrating. Winning a squad that is more senior than us and is wearing better shoes than us. Hahaha. Hopefully we're get to win them in the drill competition.. But it's seriously the best day. No matter how tired we are. We're satisfied with all the result for the effort we've put in.. |
